Istanbul–Bursa Ferry — Full System Renewal

A 120-passenger commuter ferry running daily between Istanbul and Bursa. The galley and laundry equipment had been deteriorating for years — frequent breakdowns, rising energy bills, and crew complaints. The operator needed everything replaced but had only a short maintenance window to work with before the ferry had to return to service.

We split the project into two parallel work streams: one team on the galley, one on the laundry room. Demolition, new electrical distribution panels, fresh plumbing, and full equipment installation — all done simultaneously.

The new café galley received a Bravilor Bolero Novo automatic beverage system, an Electrolux Zanussi bain-marie hot service unit, and a renewed sandwich preparation area. For the crew laundry, we installed two Primus FX 135 high-speed industrial washers and a Primus T 13 sensor-controlled dryer.

Everything was commissioned and handed over in 5 days. The ferry returned to the Istanbul–Bursa run on schedule. Six months of daily operation followed without a single equipment failure, and energy consumption across both areas dropped 38%.
