One of the largest projects we've taken on. A 1,200-passenger Mediterranean cruise vessel needed fully redundant laundry and galley systems that could run 24 hours a day without stopping. Eighteen months of engineering, six 50 kg washers, three 200 cm mangles, and a Winterhalter tunnel dishwasher — all installed during a single 21-day maintenance window. First season: 22,000 passengers, zero system failures. Energy down 36%.

Mixed 440V/60Hz & 220V/50Hz power systems

The technical challenge here was the vessel's mixed electrical infrastructure: 440V/60Hz and 220V/50Hz running side by side. We engineered conversion systems to bring everything in line, then replaced the full cooking suite, refrigeration, and dishwashing within a 7-day port call in Izmir. Twelve months later, not a single call-out. Energy consumption dropped 41%.

1,200 kg daily capacity, installed at Trieste

This 600-passenger ro-ro runs between Turkey and Italy. It was outsourcing all its laundry at port — expensive and unreliable. We designed three independent laundry workstations and installed everything in 12 days at Trieste during the annual maintenance stop. The ferry now processes over 1,200 kg a day in-house and saves roughly €18,000 a year in external laundry costs.

A busy 120-passenger commuter ferry on the Istanbul–Bursa route. Equipment had been failing regularly, running costs were high, and the operator had a very tight maintenance window. We stripped the old galley and laundry in parallel and had the new systems running in 5 days. Energy down 38%, nothing has broken in 6 months of daily operation.

8-week refit, 100% charter occupancy after

New owner, 25-year-old vessel, charter ambitions that the existing equipment couldn't support. We worked alongside the interior designer through an 8-week refit — new induction cooking suite, Rational oven, Liebherr refrigeration, twin Miele washers and heat-pump dryers. The vessel went straight into charter after commissioning and ran at 100% occupancy its first season. Annual energy saving: around 12,000 kWh.

Modern equipment, original character preserved

A 1994 wooden gulet in active Aegean charter use. The owner wanted better performance but wasn't prepared to lose the vessel's character with a heavy refit. We chose compact, low-draw equipment that fit the existing spaces: Dometic induction hob, Eno marine oven, Isotherm refrigerator, Vitrifrigo freezer, and a Splendide combined washer-dryer on a vibration-isolation platform. Three weeks over winter, no structural changes, 45% lower energy bill.

A 65-metre expedition yacht doing extended North Atlantic passages. The old refrigeration system couldn't keep up with the heat and was burning through electricity. We replaced everything in 10 days — three Foster EP700H verticals, two PROG600H deep freezers, and a Bitzer compressor unit running on R290 with seawater cooling. Result: 42% less energy, 35% more total cooling capacity.

Designed during hull construction

Most laundry systems are retrofitted after a vessel is built — we were brought in during hull construction and planned the entire infrastructure from scratch. Electrical loads, ventilation routes, and piping were integrated into the main technical file before the deck plating went on. The result is a system that runs 62% more efficiently than comparable vessels fitted out the conventional way. Twin 20 kg Miele industrials, heat-pump dryers, and an Electrolux steam press.

A 55-metre custom motor yacht, built at Marmaris. We worked directly with the vessel's interior architect from early design, so the galley layout was purpose-built rather than squeezed in at the end. Zanussi Professional induction, Rational combi oven, Electrolux grill, twin Liebherr refrigeration, and a Winterhalter undercounter — all behind custom 316L stainless counters and ventilation we fabricated in-house.

An Aegean charter company running 8 fifty-foot catamarans was dealing with different equipment on every boat — different spare parts, different failures, different training for crew. We inspected all 8 vessels, designed one standard galley package, and rolled it out across the fleet. Dometic induction, Eno oven, custom 316L twin-basin sink, Isotherm 12V DC refrigerator. Inventory costs dropped roughly 70% and guest feedback became consistent across the fleet.

A 60-metre motor yacht serving 12 guests and 8 crew. The brief was simple: more capacity, less noise, less energy. We installed an 18 kg Miele inverter washer and matching heat-pump dryer on a custom 316L anti-vibration base with sound insulation panels around the room. Daily capacity doubled, energy consumption fell 55%, and the vibration level is now described by the crew as undetectable.

Weekly charter turnaround, every sheet done in port

On a gulet running weekly charters, the laundry room is the pressure point. Every time the boat turns around, there's a mountain of linen that has to be done before the next guests board. We redesigned the below-deck layout, installed two Primus industrial machines and an Electrolux cylinder mangle side by side, and built a custom stainless wastewater run. The operator now handles everything in-house during the port stop.

Designed in collaboration with the yacht's designer

The owner of a 58-metre superyacht wanted a proper outdoor galley on the sun deck — not a bolt-on barbecue but something that looked like it was always meant to be there. We 3D-modelled the unit together with the yacht's designer, fabricated it entirely from AISI 316L in our Istanbul workshop, and fitted it in the Med. Kenyon Atlantic marine grill, Isotherm drawer cooler, push-open cabinets with locking rails, brushed and passivated finish. Two Mediterranean seasons, no issues.

Standard off-the-shelf fittings don't survive in pool areas — the combination of salt water, chlorine, and constant mechanical stress is unforgiving. For this 48-metre motor yacht refit at Antalya, we designed and manufactured 24 custom components: embedded drain strainers, stainless flanges, channel covers, and pool step profiles. All AISI 316L, CNC plasma cut, TIG welded with argon, electropolished and passivated.

Coastal kitchen: 304 counters, 316L shelving

A restaurant inside Kalamış Marina, Istanbul. Coastal kitchens corrode fast — even supposedly stainless equipment starts showing rust within a year when there's salt air in the ventilation. We specified AISI 304 for the countertops and AISI 316L for the wall shelving where the exposure is highest, fabricated everything to the kitchen's exact layout, and installed it in 3 days without interrupting service. Over two years, no corrosion, no deformation.
